Het gaat om een korte online training&#x002C; aangeboden door BAPCOC en ondersteund door onder andere <em>Domus Medica<\/em> en SSMG&#x002C; die huisartsen kan helpen om bij pati\u00ebnten met luchtweginfecties effectief en veilig minder antibiotica te gebruiken (via <a href='https:\/\/www.health.belgium.be\/language_selection?destination=elearninghealth'>www.e-learninghealth.be<\/a> of <a href='https:\/\/inami-riziv.dokeosnet.com\/index.php?language=dutch'>https:\/\/inami-riziv.dokeosnet.com\/index.php?language=dutch<\/a>). De <em>e-learning\u00a0<\/em>\u201cVeilig minder antibiotica\u201d&#x002C; een korte module die ongeveer 10 minuten in beslag neemt<em>&#x002C;\u00a0<\/em>is toegankelijk voor iedereen.\u00a0De e-learning \u201cGRACE INTRO\u201d&#x002C; een vervolg op \u201cVeilig minder antibiotica\u201d&#x002C; is meer uitgebreid&#x002C; heeft huisartsen als doelgroep&#x002C; en voorziet accreditering.<\/p>\n<p>Een ander initiatief in verband met antibiotica is \u201c<em>Antibiotic guardian<\/em>\u201d (via <a href='https:\/\/antibioticguardian.com\/dutch\/'>www.antibioticguardian.com\/dutch<\/a> ) waarbij iedereen&#x002C; van zorgverlener tot burger&#x002C; uitgenodigd wordt zich te engageren om de antibioticaresistentie mee te helpen bestrijden. Het gaat om een initiatief van de Britse Gezondheidsinstanties (<em>Public Health England<\/em>) ondersteund door BAPCOC.<\/p>\n<p>In de strijd tegen antibioticaresistentie is een adequater gebruik van antibiotica \u00e9\u00e9n van de belangrijke pijlers. Ook dit jaar wordt in het oktobernummer van de Folia herinnerd\u00a0 aan het belang van het rationele gebruik van antibiotica bij luchtweginfecties.
